Energize Your Paintings with Innovative Techniques! Take home a new painting each week with eye-catching color and textural effects! In each class, you'll learn exciting new skills or techniques you can apply to your artwork, such as -sprinkling Brusho watercolor crystals for intense color -simulating patterns by impressing cloth and other materials to paper -combining watercolor and ink for loose, semi-abstract paintings -using straws to “blow” tree branches and grasses across paper -employing salt, credit cards, and palette knives for texture -and much more! This class will spark your imagination and provide you with new tools and fresh ideas to enrich your watercolor painting. Come and be delightfully surprised at what you can create! Reference photos will be available, but students are welcome to bring in their own photos or an old painting for a “special effects makeover” with these techniques. Join us in a fun, supportive atmosphere that ncludes group instruction, one-on-one assistance, demonstrations, activities, and weekly emails with tips and resources.
