Have you always wanted to try painting with acrylics? Are you working with acrylics, but want to brush up on the fundamentals? Here, beginners will learn basic principles of painting with acrylics, including how to assess values, mix colors, and apply paint. We’ll discuss strategies for organizing your approach to painting to achieve positive results. Create three simple compositions applying the principles learned in class. By the end of the class you’ll have a basic foundation in acrylics upon which you can build. For those that have worked in acrylics or have taken one of Beverly’s earlier classes you will receive additional materials according to your experience level.
