This is the weekend many of you have been waiting for. Sandy Turner will be showing her work starting with when she first came to the studio 25 years ago when The Artists Playground was located upstairs in the Tannery. The work will encompass the process of an artist starting with studying the fundamentals up until now where her most creative self has emerged.
Be prepared to be blown-away. You will see all the 90+ works including her early oils, watercolors and acrylics. Along with a few surprises.
The show opens with a reception Friday night 6:30 to 9pm. It will also be open Saturday and Sunday 1 to 5pm.
Below is a little sampling of what you will see of her work. The first is an oil (maybe 20 years old), then a watercolor and the last one is one of her pen drawing. from one of her many drawing book.
Sandy will be teaching a sketching class on Thursday nights in January. Keep checking the blog and flyers around the studio to get the date, time and supply list.
Thanks always for taking your time to see what is happening at the Playground.
