Our computer died.
Therefore I haven’t been able to do much on my blog. Chuck has it almost fixed but he is waiting for something in the mail to complete the new computer. Some thing to get information off our old hard drive.
Plus both of us have colds so we are not functioning at full speed.
I decided to post a few photos of some of the kids from yesterdays class. Check out the incredible collages Eleanor created. The photo below is of Eleanor, she has only been with me this session and I am thrilled to have her and her brother attend. Everything she does looks great. I am thrilled to have her in my class. I am learning stuff from her and her brother Harris.
The two collages below are Alice’s. She was inspired by her good friend Eleanor. I enlarged a portion of the one on the left so you could see at a glance how creative and interesting it looks. Here is a hyperlink to Alice who I posted about last weekend.
Below is Harris, Eleanor’s brother. He has recently been working on a series of waves. You can see one of them below. He took a little break yesterday and made the red and white Christmas ornament. What a great kid and smart as a whip!
Because this is the last week of class for some of the classes lots of the kids are making Christmas ornaments or Christmas presents.
Our final student in this post is Shalin (below), she is only 6 years old! Look at the beautiful ornaments she made. She is very precocious. She has only been with me for 2 weeks so I don’t really know her very well. However, when I asked her if she wanted to make a box with me and she said yes, I never expected her to grasp everything so quickly. I was very surprised! Some of you might remember the first time you made a box, it was pretty confusing. Good job Shalin!
I get to have the joy of wonder thinking about all the interesting and creative things these and all my students will create. Wait until you see what the other kids created in this class. Boy, are they creative. I would like to showcase more of them but there are so many students and so little time. Plus some of the classes are kind of big and everyone needs me so I don’t have time to take photos. I am crazy about all my students and I’m looking forward to showing and telling you lots more about them in the future.
Thanks to these kids and all of you for reading my blog. I hope you enjoy seeing the photos. Remember, you are able to comment. Just click on the button at the bottom of the post. We all love reading what you have to say.
