Adorable kids

Below are some of the kids from the Monday afternoon class. Could they be more precious? I don’t think so.

Above is Mary Rose. Look at the way she holds her brush – just like an artist! Notice the sophisticated colors she chose in her puppy dog painting below.  It is too bad her paper was so thin. I don’t think when she started it that she planned to paint, otherwise we would have used heavier paper. Mary Rose applied so may layers of paint she had to use scotch tape to hold it together. Somehow it makes the painting even more adorable. Click on it to see it bigger.

The next two young gals, below, are sisters, Bella on the left, just starting a frog painting (see lower right) and Gabi on the right  painting a lovely flower picture. Bella has been with me for several years and is very creative and only recently has started to try her hand at drawing realistically. I think she has surprised herself at how good she can be when she wants to.

Below is Luke, what a great kid. Some of my adults might remember him because he came painting with us this past summer at Mosley Woods. Do you believe how well he paints and draws? He thinks he is only good at drawing but  I think he is amazing at painting too.

TaylorBThis little cutie is Tyler and she is painting two puppy dogs. She used the light table to draw them and she is painting them using the colors she wants. Taylor is young but notice the fabulous job she does with paint.

The last student in this blog is Izzy.  Wow!!!! What a mega creative young lady. She and Bella are good friends and they are also friends with Ke’ala. Find her post here: (Progress Not Perfection).
